To celebrate Mother’s Day 2021, our very clever Brand Ambassador Lauren Dilena curated a special collaboration here at Blancspace Maison. Bringing together the most stunning of mums and divine little people, Lauren partnered with David Jones to style three gorgeous duos featuring some of Adelaide’s favourite faces. Here we invite you behind-the-scenes to reveal what it takes to make this kind of magic happen.
As a Fashion Stylist Lauren Dilena looks like she does in her Instagram photos every day in person.
Effortlessly chic herself, Lauren styled all six people in the private styling suite at David Jones on Rundle Mall, collecting the most gorgeous selection of outfits and ideas from the new season fashion collections. Selecting looks from renown Australian designers including Aje, Camilla and Marc, Bianca Spender, Asilio, Bec and Bridge, Lauren ensured everyone both loved their look and felt super comfortable.
The next day Channel 7 Weather Presenter Amelia Mulchay and her daughter Grace stole the show as the impossibly cute duo posed in the different spaces Blancspace Maison has to offer. Amelia revealed that she is always taking photos of Grace but has very few with the two of them together so this was a special opportunity to steal a special moment, and shot or two.
Lauren posed with her Mum and best friend, Sue Dilena on the Maison stairs and in the beautiful light of The Entrance to capture the most serene mother/daughter shots of the day.
Lovely new mum Lucy Damin snuggled her 4-month old son Jack in the sunshine streaming through the French doors of the upstairs Blancspace Co. office. The picture of the perfect baby, Jack cooed as his mum, like Amelia, captured some of the very first photos of them together.
Blancspace Maison Founder Erin Fraser says of the collaboration;
“We wanted to give some of our favourite local faces the opportunity to stop and celebrate this incredibly special day with beautiful images captured in our space. Little Jack is just 4-months old and we know these photos will be treasured keepsakes for Lucy.”
